We have just completed a new shore boat. It is an AKSANO F 16 Catamaran with a 130 HP Evenrude ETEC motor. Initial testing today yields 54 mph but we have alot of testing to do with propellers to achieve maximum perf0rmance. The F 16 is a new company that we have formed in partnership with AKSANO Catamaran.
This boat is the 4th hull produced and is the first all Carbon Fiber boat of its kind.
It is extremely light and strong and will be very versatile for cruising fishing and watersports.
Because of time constrants we will tow this new boat rather than place on top of Sea Jay.

This Blog is for our boat trip starting on May 1 2011 and ending in early September Taking us from Everett Washington up the West Coast through British Columbia to South East Alaska with Glacier Bay as the farthest northern destination. This photo is Dawes Glacier in Endicott Arm Alaska. We weaved our way through the bergs for 30 miles to get to the face and watch it calve.
